LED lights add a distinctive flair to a vehicle. While they are frowned upon by police and other authorities, they are a favored type of detailing among car enthusiasts. Mounting LED lights does require knowledge of a vehicle's under-workings. But after you purchase a light kit, you can do the work yourself.
Instructions

Disconnect the battery. Locate an area for tube placement, away from all exhaust systems, fuel lines, moving parts, extreme heat areas or places where a jack could be used or a spare tire accessed.

Raise the vehicle on a lift or jack. Test the fitting for your LED light tubes in the assumed locations where you will be mounting them. Make sure you follow the directions on your LED kit. Mount the tubes where they are centered between the vehicle's length. You cannot place the tubes where they are visible because this is a violation of the law.
Install the small metal or plastic brackets that came with your kit onto the LED tubes. Then use the tube to mark the places you will drill holes for the brackets.

Drill the holes into the metal parts. Apply silicon sealer to the holes before applying the screws. Place the screws in the brackets first. While holding the bracket into place, insert the screws into the holes and then tighten them. Check to make sure the side tube wires face the vehicle's front. This will ensure that they are close to the distribution block.

Tighten the screws enough to hold the bracket in place with a drill or screwdriver. You will want to go back once the installation is almost complete to tighten them again. Proceed with installing the other tubes in the same manner.

Locate a flat surface in the engine compartment to place the distribution block. Install it an area that is high up, where it will not get wet. Connect each of the tubes to the outputs on the distribution block top. Raise the adapters with a screwdriver and not by pulling on them.

Find an area in the inside of your car to mount the digital control panel. It should be in an easily accessible area to work the buttons and functions.

Push the ribbon wire from the digital control panel through the firewall's hole and plug it into the input on the side of the distribution block. Protect the hole for the wires with a silicon sealant or rubber grommet.
Tips & Warnings
Music sync devices that rely on being plugged in to independent LED lights must not exceed the rating for the AC power of the device.
