How to Modify FTA Receivers
Free-to-air (FTA) signals are unscrambled TV stations that are downloaded via a satellite. To get these signals, you must have an FTA receiver. After you install the receiver, you will have access to hundreds of free television channels from around the world. Since you will have so many viewing options, you may want to modify your FTA receiver so that you can control which stations you will receive. This is a good way to select channels that are your favorites, make sure they're safe for family viewing or remove those that are of no interest to you.

Instructions

Point your browser to the website of the company from which you purchased your FTA receiver. Sign into your FTA account. Enter your username and password. Press Enter.

Locate the "FTA .bin" files within your personal account screen. These are the files that have been uploaded to your FTA receiver. They control which channels you have access to. Click on the file(s) that you wish to modify. These will be the files that you choose to insert in your receiver to access particular channels. Each file will have location and channel information list on its side.

Download the selected .bin files to your computer. Press the button labeled "Download" on your personal account screen. The .bin files will be downloaded to your computer in a compressed or .zip format.

Extract the compressed or zipped files to your computer. Right click each .bin file. Select "Extract" from the pop-up menu. Follow the on-screen instructions to fully extract the .bin files from the .zip file that was downloaded from the FTA company's website.

Insert the USB flash drive into a USB port on your computer. If your computer does not automatically recognize and open the file menu on the flash drive, go to the Start menu, select "Computer" from the start menu. Click the "USB Flash" drive from the menu. This will open the USB drive file menu on your screen.

Select all of the .bin files and drag them into the file menu of the USB flash drive. Select the .bin files by clicking and holding down your left mouse button and dragging it across all of the files. Release the button. Click anywhere in the highlighted box and drag your cursor to the USB flash drive file menu while holding down the left button. This will move the files to your USB flash drive.

Remove the USB drive. Go to the Start Menu. Click "Computer." Then right click "USB Flash." Select "Eject" from the pop-up menu. Pull the USB flash drive out from the USB port of your computer.

Turn off the FTA receiver. Press the "On/Off" button.

Insert the USB flash drive into the USB port on the back of the FTA receiver. This will transfer your new selection of files into the receiver. This selection of files will allow you to watch only channels that you want.<cheap wholesale from China
